Suso Fined by FA for a Tweet, A Friendly Banter Costs Liverpool Yougster £10,000

Liverpool’s rising star Suso was fined £10,000 and warned about his future conduct by FA today for an apparent homophobic tweet where he referred ot his fellow team mate Jose Enrique as ‘gay’.

The tweet took place a few days ago and read, “What f*** is he doing? This guy is gay… he does everything except play football.” The player later deleted the tweet and replaced it with the following, “”I dunno what to say…”.

In Suso’s defence the picture of Jose Enrique along with the tweet was crazy and it demanded something obnoxious. But the FA don’t take lightly to these things and imposed a hefty fine.

Here is the FA statement, “The charge, which the player admitted and requested a paper hearing, was that he acted in a way which was improper and/or brought the game into disrepute in that the comment was posted on his Twitter account and included a reference to a person’s sexual orientation and/or disability.”

We are guessing Jose Enrique to pay a share of the fine as the photo was absolutely bonkers.
