Real Madrid left it late but finally came good as the Deportivo 1-2 in this away fixture. Kaka and Higuain scored the two goals for Real, very late in the game after Riki had given Deportivo the lead in the first half.

Angel Di Maria made some kind of a record when he received two yellow cards in the 90th minute, in 10 seconds to be precise and was duly sent off. Deportivo were actually a better side than Madrid tonight but Mourinho made some crucial substitutions at the correct time as they just snatched 3 points from Deportivo.
