[ad#m1] Santiago Bernabeu will welcome the Turkish giants in the first leg of the quarter final fixture. The hosts Real Madrid will look for a home win as to achieve a safe second leg match in Turkey.
A look ahead at the match by Prathik Sunku.
Real Madrid has won this competition 11 times and their Turkish opposition have not reached this position in the tournament for 10 years now.
Both Hamit Altintop and Wesley Sneijder will face their old teammates whereas one of Galatasaray recent signing a certain Didier Drogba will face his old manager.
The Los Blancos have a complete fit squad ready to have a go at Galatasaray. Alonso, Khedira, Ozil and Di Maria who were on bench against their draw with Zaragoza should definitely appear in the starting lineup. Rising star Raphael Varane and Fabio Coentrao are also fully fit from their injuries and are set to feature in this game.
Galatasaray boss Fatih Terim also has a fully fit squad excluding defender Tomas Ujfalusi.
Watch Out For
The man to watch in Real Madrid will be the Portuguese winger Cristiano Ronaldo, who is the top scorer of the tournament and more than that, he is a player who can turn things in Mourinho’s side under any difficult situation as well.
Burak Yilmaz, who also shares the honor of being the top goal scorer of the tournament with eight goals, and along with CR7 is the man to watch for in the Turkish side.

The Di Maria, Ozil and CR7 trio will of course be threatening but Galatasaray too feature a breath taking forward attack with Sneijder, Drogba and Yilmaz. There is without any doubt, lots of tasks put ahead before the defenders of both the teams.
