Referee Carlos del Cerro Grande turned out to be the villain of the night as he made some shocking decisons. Gary Medel also didn’t Sevilla’s chances as he was red carded in the second half for slapping Canas.

Sevilla started brilliantly and looked like going away with the match as they took a 3 goals to nil lead inside 33 minutes but Betis came back strongly to make it 3-3.
