Barcelona’s title celebration will need to wait a little longer as Real Madrid clinched a thrilling 4-3 win against Valladolid.

Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice along with a goal from Kaka and a Marc Valiente own goal as they held off some serious challenge from the away side.

It was Valladolid who drew first blood when Oscar scored inside the first 10 minutes but an own goal from Valiente got Madrid back in the game. Ronaldo then took the lead with a fine goal. Di Maria had an important role to play in both the goals.

But Javi Guerra equalised 3 minute later and it was 2-2 at the end of first half.

With new found energy Real Madrid started the second half impressively and managed to score two goals through Ronaldo and Kaka. Lluis Sastre did give Madrid a late scare when hit a tremendous volley to make it 4-3.
