Tony Fernandes and QPR are in the news for all the right reasons for a change.
QPR majority shareholder and club chairman Tony Fernandes offered to buy a season ticket for a fan who tweeted him.
A publicity stunt? Could be but it is still a mighty move on Tony Fernandes’ part for buying the Rangers fan a season ticket because he couldn’t afford it.
This gesture made one fan happy but the chairman had already done his part for all the fans as he reduced the price of season ticket from £38 to £22 per game for next season.
The only downside for Fernandes would be that everyone would want free stuff from him now. In fact, the number of people asking him for stuff currently is not even funny.
