Louis van Gaal, the 62-year old Dutchman has been appointed as the new manager of Manchester United to succeed the Chosen One: David Moyes. He will take charge of the Red Devils after leading Netherlands in the World Cup 2014 at Brazil.
He was the most culled man for United after David Moyes was sacked by the club and Ryan Giggs took charge as the interim manager for the rest of the season. He takes over after a disappointing term as United finished seventh in the Premier League, which means that they will play in none of the European Competitions next season. It can equally be fruitful for the Dutchman as without the distraction of European Football he can probably get United back where they belong.
