Manchester United could go for the kill in their pursuit of unsettled Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos. It is no secret that Ramos is in loggerheads with Real president Florentino Perez for financial reasons. And Manchester United vice-chairman Ed Woodward will see this as a golden opportunity to get the Spaniard to Old Trafford according to Barcelona based Sport.
The Spanish daily are reporting some crazy numbers to back up their claim, “The Red Devils are trying to convince the Spain international to join them with an offer of 55 million euros, with tax taken into account, for five seasons. Ramos will start earning 12 million euros in his first season at Man United, with the amount decreasing each year by 500,000 euros in each of the following campaigns. In total, it will add up to 55 million euros, without tax.”
