Former Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon joined in the transfer saga of the summer and has claimed that veteran defender Sergio Ramos does not feel appreciated at Santiango Bernabeu anymore and wants to move to English juggernauts Manchester United.
Calderon revealed the information while speaking with BBC Sport: “I know Sergio has told the general manager to listen to offers they get from Manchester United.”
“He only wants to go to United.”
“Things are in a very bad situation. As time has gone on, things have not only not improved, they have got worse. Now it is not a question of money. It is a lack of affection the player is feeling from Real Madrid.”
Though, these quotes from the ex president directly contradict that of Sergio Ramos’ mother, who quite confidently, said that her son loves Spain and is going nowhere.
Manchester United’s latest offer for the Spaniard is understood to be about £30 million.
