Matteo Darmian indirectly confirmed his transfer to Manchester United as the Italian full back wrote a farewell message for the Torino fans and the hierarchy!

The letter in Italian was posted on a website called Torino Granata. Check out the translation below!

The day has arrived, after 3 years of fantastic I leave Turin.

3 wonderful years where I learned to play, have fun and I learned above all to live! It is thanks to my teammates and my fans who have become so, a player tried from half of Europe, is on only your and Mr. Ventura, more than a coach to me, the second parent.

Right now I have no words, I’m just crying. Remember that I leave Torino to a choice of future career, not because I am evil. Turin will always be my second home, I never tire of her. I’m in luck to the whole team and the supporters.

This is not a goodbye but just a goodbye. In these 3 years we got back in, we won against Juventus after 20 years and we are back in the Europa League. I believe I go away with the conscience, at least I hope so affixed. My I did for this team, I gave all my heart and my soul. It was an honor to play for Torino and also in some games the captain!

I think the love that I gave to this city, will be reciprocated in a few parts.
Thanks for everything Turin!
