New reports are circulating on the internet claiming that Manchester United have made a discreet approach for Barcelona superstar Neymar.
The Sun with their ‘World Exclusive’ have linked the English giants with an audacious swoop for Neymar, whose release clause at Barcelona is apparently set at a bumper £138m.
“United are one of the biggest clubs in the world, so it is right they are chasing a player who has the potential to be the best player on the planet,” according to the sources of The Sun.
The tabloid goes on to mention that Manchester United Chief Executive Ed Woodward, who is desperate for a mega-signing, had visited Barcelona multiple times in the last few weeks to hold talks with Catalan club over a possible sale of the Brazilian superstar.
Sports writer for The Sun, Neil Custis, is also quite adamant that the said report is on point. Check out his tweets below!
For those lining up to knock it down, do so if you like, but it’s spot on, no matter what denials might follow
