German daily claims Tottenham are closing in on Bayer Leverkusen’s Heung-Min Son

According to Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger, Spurs are closing on a deal for Bayer Leverkusen forward Heung-Min Son. The fee reported is about €25-30m apparently.

The German daily further reported that the 23-year-old, whose current contract with Bayern Leverkusen runs till 2018, will be flying to London on Wednesday for his medical and to complete his move.

The rumor has surfaced quite out of the blue for Spurs fans, though, the South Korean forward did miss the final training session before Bayer’s Champions League qualifying match against Lazio but it was reportedly due to an infection.
