A very witty reply from Manchester United, as the English club dismissed all the accusations from Real Madrid’s president Florentino Perez through a statement on Friday. Florentino Perez had blamed the officials at United for David de Gea’s failed transfer on deadline day.
Responding to the claims from Florentino Perez, a Man United spokesperson said the following to The Associated Press: “The facts speak for themselves. The FA are prepared to back our case that documents were in on time. Real seem intent to move the focus away from their own clumsiness this summer.”
“We all like to blame others but if you let one slip through your fingers into the back of the net, then ultimately the culpability is yours.”
