Jose Mourinho’s current Chelsea side got owned by an unlikeliest of sources last night, as Rubin Kazan manager Valeriy Chaly suggested that their 1-0 loss to Liverpool wasn’t all bad as it was still a better result than what reigning Premier League champions Chelsea achieved against the Reds last weekend.
“In the second half we looked more composed but we have a problem with the composition so the young players had a chance. For them, it’s an experience. Liverpool are a good team and showed that against Chelsea – so, we are still better than Chelsea.” Valeriy said.
Jordon Ibe’s second half strike which was also first goal for the club, turned out to be the match-winner as Liverpool registered their first Europa League victory of the season.
