The Sheer Audacity Of Arsenal’s Santi Cazorla To Switch His Corner Taking Foot At Will During Watford Win

Arsenal finally registered their first win of the season with a 3-1 victory over Watford on Saturday night. Having picked up just a point from a possible six, all pressure was on the Gunners to deliver as they made the short trip to Vicarage Road. Arsenal really needed the win to keep up pace with the other title contenders and their performance on the evening ensured that they did so.

Santi Cazorla, Alexis Sanchez and Mezut Ozil all scored as Arsenal produced a devastating first half performance to put the Gunners 3-0 up heading into the break. A spirited second half performance from Watford which included a goal form debutant Roberto Pereyra was not enough to change the outcome of the game as Arsenal ran out comfortable winners.

After being plagued by injury throughout the second half of last season, Santi Cazorla certainly looked a rejuvenated player against Watford as the Spaniard came up with some fine attacking display.

One was certainly worth our examination as he delivered a cheeky cross from a corner in the 23rd minute. Initially looking to put an outswinger in the box with his right foot, the Spaniard duly switched to his left to put an inswinger in after getting the instructions from Laurent Koscielny. It remains to be seen whether he can hold down a regular spot in the Gunners midfield this season but his performance will no doubt give Wenger plenty of selection dilemmas when Ramsey returns.
