19 year-old Ainsley Maitland Niles, a product of Arsenal’s youth academy, struck a sensational goal for the England U20s during their 1-1 draw against Brazil at St. George’s Park on Thursday.
Receiving the ball outside the box after a rather hilarious mistake by the opposing defender, the Arsenal youngster struck an absolute belter, without even needing a touch on the ball first.
The trajectory of the ball was awesome to say the least, with the ball rising and dipping in an astounding manner. It was a sort of a chip, but from a crazy distance, and it easily managed to beat the opposition keeper.
The Arsenal #55 has made just one appearance for the senior side so far, but if he keeps up with scoring these sort of scorchers, his next appearance is bound to come soon enough.
The winger’s future seems bright, and he could be the next in line of the many youth products Arsene Wenger has nurtured and brought up at Arsenal. Check out his terrific goal here!
