Get Practising Lads: Newcastle New Boy DeAndre Yedlin Reveals Odd Little Dance Routine After His Goal v Derby

DeAndre Roselle Yedlin has certainly made a bright start to his Newcastle United career, grabbing a goal in just his second appearance for his new club against Derby County. A right back by trade, the summer signing has come off the bench as a winger in his two appearances so far and the decision seems to be rightly justified after his performances there.

His goal against Derby was his first goal in English football. Yoan Gouffran had given Newcastle United the lead with a superb volley from Jonjo Shelvey’s corner in the first half. With the visitors defending a slender lead, the USA international came off the bench to score a goal in stoppage time to seal a 2-0 victory for his team.

With goals a rarity for him as such, he made it a point of celebrating his first Newcastle goal in style when he rounded off the celebrations with a rather cheeky dance routine.

The win embarks Newcastle United on a four match winning streak in the
Championship and they climb to second spot in the league standings.
