The last season was nothing less than a fairy tale for Leicester City. A club which was dubbed as a relegation candidate at the start, shocked the world by going on to win the title by a comfortable margin, over other established title challengers. And last week, the club made its Champions League debut, comfortably winning the group stage tie against Club Brugge 3-0.
A huge factor behind this wonderful run of results was Riyad Mahrez, the feisty Algerian winger. The winger proved to be a revelation, as his performances saw him win the PFA Player of the Year award. And the Algerian has continued his good form into this season, scoring twice in the club’s and his Champions League debut.
The performances of the players were rewarded by owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha in the off-season in a lavish manner. The Thai owner gave each of the players a royal blue BMW i8 car, to celebrate their historic title win. However, some of the players have opted to change the colour wrap of the cars because they were having difficulty in recognizing which one they own!
Mahrez recently put up photos of his car after the alteration, and it looks gorgeous. The winger opted to go for a classic BMW colour scheme, white and black. The modded Beemer and its owner look to have a lot of qualities in common- their reliability, the flair, and of course- their blazing speed.
