(Vine) Everton New Man Idrissa Gueye Pulled Off A Filthy Cruyff Turn During Boro win

Everton defeated Middlesbrough comfortably 3-1 on Match Day 5 of the Premier League while also moving up to second place in the points table.

The Blues’ unbeaten start to the season, even though they are yet to play any of the big clubs, have mainly been based on solid defensive performances. And this has been contributed to, in no small part, by their new signing Idrissa Gueye.

The defensive midfielder, who came for a measly £7.1m from the relegated Aston Villa, has arguably been their best player yet.

His lung-busting defensive performance did not seem to affect him in going forward and pulling a trick or two on the opposing players.

His flair was evident in one such beautiful trick, when he evaded Gaston Ramirez’s tackle with a Cruyff turn of such perfection that even the Dutch legend would have been envious of it.
