Leeds United will look to make it four wins in a row for the first time in more than six years, when they take on Ipswich Town in the Championship on Saturday.
Leeds won the EFL Cup tie against Blackburn Rovers in the week with Garry Monk making plenty of changes including goalkeeper Marco Silvestri, who replaced Rob Green from the starting lineup.
The Italian’s career at Elland Road was thought to be over, when he was exiled to train with the U21s in the pre-season. However, he was put back in the fold by coach Garry Monk and he seems to have justified the decision with a superb save in the match.
The goalkeeper was on fire in training as well as the Italian pulled off an outrageous close range double save in training. The first one was routine, but the second one, when he saved a fiercely hit shot with his feet, surely speaks of his confidence.
Great from Silvestri, not sure same could be said about Chris Wood though. Check out the saves below!
