Tottenham Hotspur moved up to second place in the Premier League, edging past league newcomers Middlesborough 2-1 at the Riverside stadium. South Korean forward Son Heung-Min scored both the goals, putting Spurs 2-0 up in the first half itself. Boro threatened a late comeback, pulling a goal back via Gibson, but ultimately it just was not enough.
The South Korean was deservedly chosen as the Man of the Match and was a thorn on the side for the Boro defense, particularly giving fullback Antonio Barragan a torrid time with his take-ons and runs.
The forward also appears to have come to terms with the feisty side of the Premier League, after being involved and not backing down during an altercation with the Middlesbrough full-back towards the end of the match.
Some great finger-pointing with Son having the last word, check out the instance below!
