It was a pretty good night for Tottenham Hotspur’s representatives on the international scene on Friday with Toby Alderweireld and Vincent Janssen both in goal scoring form for the Red Devils and the Oranjes respectively.
Alderweireld scored the third in Belgium’s 4-0 mauling of Bosnia-Herzegovina and what a goal it turned out to be.
The defender better known for his aerial threat came up with a goal any striker would have been proud of; an exquisite back-heel to calmly poke the ball into the net. Very Zlatan-esque from the Belgian, check it out below!
Elsewhere, there was Vincent Janssen, Eredivisie’s top scorer last season, continuing the Spurs’ good showing at the internationals.
While the Dutchman may have yet fully to fire with Spurs, he certainly showed that he hasn’t lost his goal scoring prowess with a brilliant solo goal.
Janssen harried the ball off a Belarusian defender, dribbled into the box and rifled an unstoppable shot into the net to make it 4-1 to the Netherlands.
Check out the sumptuous goal from the Dutchman below!
