(Video) Liverpool’s Gini Wijnaldum running the game during Holland’s win against Belarus

Georgino Wijnaldum has been a permanent figure for Liverpool ever since his arrival with the Dutchman featuring in all of Liverpool seven games so far.

While the midfielder who scored 11 goals for Newcastle last term has yet to score this season, he surely is clocking up nicely on his defensive
duties with 27 interceptions and 19 clearances so far this season.

The Dutchman’s fine showing was on display yet again as Netherlands faced off with Belarus in the World Cup qualifiers on Friday.

After a rather subdued start in midfield alongside Strootman, the midfielder slowly grew into the match as the match wore on, dictating and running the play from midfield to help Netherlands record a 4-1 triumph over Belarus. The win sees the Oranjes top group A with 4 points from 2 games.
