In a tightly contested Champions League group stage match, Tottenham and Bayer Leverkusen played out an entertaining goalless draw under the light at the BayArena on Tuesday.
The game was a tale of two halves, with the Spurs controlling the first half- but the hosts quickly grew into the match soon after the restart.
The visitors had goalkeeper Hugo Lloris to thank for the point, as the Frenchman produced a number of fine saves late in the second half to keep Spurs in the match.
One of the other main players for the Spurs was their 21-year-old midfielder, Dele Alli. Even though the Englishman missed a sitter of a header in the first half, he was still one of the best players on the pitch, with his sublime touches and flicks of the ball.
He even pulled of a brilliant nutmeg, without even touching the ball. As the ball came towards him on the flanks, he brilliantly jumps over it, letting it pass through the legs of the onrushing defender.
