The Liverpool-Manchester United derby promised a lot yet delivered very little. With the impressive array of players on both sides, one would have expected a breathless display of high intensity attacking football. What everyone got was a drab stale affair where two master tacticians tried to counter each other ever cautiously.
Perhaps the only thing exciting about the Blood Red derby was the presence (or rather the singing) of flamboyant cricketer Chris Gayle.
The ever fun loving West Indies batsman took to Facebook to post a video of him singing to the tune of Bob Marley ‘three little birds’ playing loud at the Anfield stands. The batsman also made sure to thank Daniel Sturridge for his match tickets.
