Rejoice Tottenham fans, your lord & saviour is back in training!
The big English striker had been sidelined with an ankle injury since coming off against Sunderland last month, and initially it was estimated that he would be out for 6-8 weeks. However, he seems to be recovering ahead of schedule, having started training this week, after a long absence.
Although Tottenham sit just a point off the top, in third place, the physical presence and the clinical finishing of Kane, last season’s golden boot winner, has been missed. Son Heung-Min has been on fire in his absence, having scored five goals in eight appearances, whereas things have not been very smooth for replacement striker Vincent Janssen.
Kane is rumored to be back by the North London Derby on November 6th, and the fans would be hoping that he returns all guns blazing against an Arsenal side on the ascent.
