(Video) That pass from Michael Carrick and the first touch from Juan Mata before Man Utd’s 1st goal v Fenerbahce

Manchester United were a completely different side from their goalless stalemate on Monday as they beat Fenerbahce 4-1 at Old Trafford in last night’s Europa League clash. The win sees them go top of the group on goal difference, but level on points with Feyenoord.

Few things went wrong for United on the night as Pogba sht the haters by scoring a brace, Rooney put in a great showing on his return, and free flowing attacking football was on show.

The first goal for United resulted from such slick football as veteran midfielder Michael Carrick showed his class by thumping in a pin-point across the field pass towards Juan Mata.

The Spaniard then showed his skill by taking down the long pass with a brilliant first touch, thus inviting a disastrous challenge from Simon Kjaer, and the referee had no choice but to point towards the spot.

Check out the pass from Carrick and the take down from Mata below!
