For all of Liverpool’s defensive frailties this season, they do very much look the part of being genuine title contenders thanks to their breathtaking attacking performances.
It was evident once more on Saturday as Liverpool won a six goal thriller versus Crystal Palace. Liverpool on the attack were truly mesmerizing to watch with their pace, precision and tenacity.
At the heart of all this was Coutinho who looked a class apart. While he may not have got on the score-sheet, the Brazilian played a part in three of the four goals Liverpool scored.
He did very nearly got on the score-sheet as his cheeky ‘no-look’ one-two pass to Mane saw the ball threaded back to him only for him to straight at the keeper.
While the finish was poor in the end, the move certainly speaks volumes for the Reds number 10’s creativity.
