There were talks of a crisis at Chelsea after a poor run of form for the Blues. The ignominious defeat at Arsenal seemed to confirm the fans’ worst fears, with the team looking out-of-sorts and disconnected.
But main man Antonio Conte persisted with the experimental three-at-the-back system and it has paid off in heaps for the club. The recent win against Southampton was their 4th straight win in the league with all of them being clean sheets as well.
Chelsea have shown no signs of stopping in recent times, and the atmosphere around the club has been electric. Add to that, in the match at St.Mary’s, the fans brought out a new chant, thanking Antonio Conte for his effect on their club. The chant, sung to the tune of Rufus and Chaka Khan hit ‘Ain’t Nobody, signifies the fans happiness of the fact that the Italian is at the helm.
