Ever since Karamoko Dembele made his bow for the Celtic’s U20 against Hearts last month, the youngster, aged just 13, has been thrown into the intense media spotlight and scrutiny.
The youngster again showed just why he is so highly rated with a superb showing on his debut for the Scotland U-16s match versus the Wales U-16s.
Dembele’s brief 26-minute cameo made up for an enthralling show of trickery, flair and close ball control. In one instance the youngster came up with a touch reminiscent of Ronaldihno; with the ball dropping down hard, the little magician controlled the ball stone-dead and spun past his marker and into the wing drawing cheers and applause from the crowd.
