Manchester United’s season hit a new low as they suffered a devastating defeat at the hands of Turkish opposition Fenerbahce in the Europa League.
Mercurial forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic had another night to forget after as the ponytailed striker cut a frustrated figure the whole match, much like the fans watching their team.
The Swede was involved in a number of altercations with the opposition, and could face retrospective action for his ugly grab on the opposition defender. The 35-year-old was lucky not to be sent off after he grabbed Simon Kjaer by the throat, but the incidents did not end there.
As the referee attempted to break one of the many confrontations between the Swede and his opposition, he placed an arm on his chest to try and push him away- the big striker was seen dragging the referee’s arm away from his chest quite forcefully.
