(Vine) Passionate Francis Coquelin celebrating Arsenal’s goal like a madman v Spurs

For a player whose chances at the Emirates looked bleaker than ever with the signing of Granit Xhaka in the summer, Francis Coquelin has responded brilliantly, establishing himself in the starting lineup with brilliant performances.

The midfielder has some heavy competition for his position in the form of Cazorla, Elneny and Xhaka, but he again reinforced his importance to the team with his showing in the North London Derby.

In what is one of the most important matches for any Gooner, he was effective yet again, nipping at heels and distributing the ball in a quietly effective manner.

The Frenchman’s passion in the derby evident. After Arsenal gained the lead via Kevin Wimmer’s own goal, the midfielder was seen celebrating the goal in a wildly passionate manner, all alone.

It was a peculiar sight, but is sure to warm the hearts of Gooners everywhere. Check it out below!
