Perhaps Arsenal’s best player this season so far, assist king Mesut Ozil has finally reinvented himself as a more lethal, goal-scoring threat.
However, Ozil’s contract with the Gunners ends in 2018, and the German is yet to sign an extension, much to discomfort of the fans.
But with a recent development, it seems that the German is here to stay. It is reported that Ozil recently bought a 10-million-pound mansion, complete with a basement cinema and six bedrooms, in London.
The Highgate three-storey house is just a short drive from Arsenal’s London Colney training ground, which should signal that the forward is signing an extension.
