Alexis Sanchez has always been known for his passion and dedication towards the game, both for his club and country. So it came as no surprise when he decided to risk playing with a thigh injury for his nation in the important Qualifier against Uruguay, ahead of another crunch match in the League against Manchester United on Saturday.
And the Arsenal hero turned out to be the game-changer as Chile came from behind to beat Uruguay 3-1. Sanchez scored a second-half brace, after Eduardo Vargas had drawn them level.
Even after he was substituted after 83 minutes, his passion did not seem quenched. As Chile concede a late penalty, the forward is seen thumping the glass shield on the bench and screaming out loud, obviously venting his frustration at the inability of his teammates to see the match through.
The scoreline did not change, though, with Luis Suarez missing the ensuing penalty.
Check out the reaction from Alexis below!
