Tottenham versus West Ham turned out to be one of the matches of the season, with Spurs escaping with three points from the jaws of defeat. The game ended 3-2 with Harry Kane scoring a late brace to put his team ahead; but it was the other Harry who stole the show.
Harry Winks was thrust into the harsh spotlight of a London Derby, after Poch handed him his full debut in the place of the injured Dele Alli.
The youngster repaid his manager’s faith in him, with a dominating performance in the midfield, looking lively and direct throughout the game. He even scored the first equalizer for Tottenham, lashing home the rebound from Janssen’s long-ranger.
The 20-year-old made his gratitude clear, as he ran off in celebration towards Mauricio Pochettino, who has played a big part in his career.
