Rafa Benitez finally seems to have found home at Newcastle United. The Spaniard has been an influential figure ever since arriving at Tyneside and despite going down the division last season, the Spaniard committed to Newcastle United with Toon fans readily embracing him into their fold.
This season, he further endeared himself to the Toon faithful with his Newcastle side topping the table all the while playing some exceptional football.
The 56 year old has showed time and time again that his connection to the club exceeds more than footballing reasons and it was apparent again on Tuesday as he along with his coaching staff took a road trip around Newcastle on an off-training day to know more about the region.
The manager along with the staff first visited Castle Keep in Newcastle after which they proceeded to visit the Angel of the North landmark in Gateshead and finally the Durham Castle and Cathedral.
The Spaniard did seem really enchanted by the places and the history surrounding them and reiterated his pride of living in the city as he left thanking everyone.
