A historic night for Celtic as the club romped past Aberdeen 3-0 to win the League Cup for the 16th time last night. It was also the first major trophy that manager Brendan Rodgers has ever lifted in his career.
The focus of the fans before the cup final was the chance to win their 100th major trophy. There was always that small seed of doubt, given the fact that Rodgers had never won a trophy in his managerial career. However, the Celtic fans showed absolutely no signs of fear before kick-off.
Always known for being a passionate lot, the fans pulled off a spectacular looking tifo that simply read “100”, in anticipation of winning that 100th major trophy. It’s safe to say they got that right!
