Manchester City finally imploded to a counter-attacking master-class from Chelsea as they fell to a 3-1 defeat at the Etihad on Saturday.
The Citizens were made to rue their missed chances as Chelsea produced a spirited second half comeback to earn a deserved win that saw them move 3 points clear at the top.
Chelsea were a joy to watch on the counter with their pace, precision and intensity blowing away a City defence that offered very little resistance.
Chelsea’s second on the night was evidence to the lethality of the Chelsea counter; the build up to the goal taking a mere FOUR passes in just 12 seconds.
The win extends Chelsea current winning streak to eight matches and with the form they are in, they certainly look odd-ons favourites for the title come May 2017.
