Gerrard picking out the home teams for the FA Cup third round picked up his former club and he couldn’t help but smile when Ian Wright pulled out the winner between Plymouth and Newport County as Liverpool’s opponents in the third round of the FA Cup.
In the wake of the favourable draw for Liverpool, the Reds legend promptly joked saying he should get a job for handing Liverpool a draw against League Two opposition.
