Brighton cemented their place in the automatic promotion places of the Championship, as they notched a 2-0 win over high-flying Leeds. The Seagulls came into the match on a thirteen-match unbeaten run, and moved up to the top of the League with the win.
The loss left a bitter aftertaste for many of the Leeds’ fans in attendance, as they saw Kalvin Phillips get sent off in the first quarter of the match, and two penalties being awarded to their opposition.
The fans took to Twitter to express their displeasure, especially over the willingness of Brighton players to go down at the slightest contact.
Brighton winger Anthony Knockaert took most of the flak, for his constant, and sometimes even comical lunges. The Frenchman has a history of theatrics, and here he was found to be the butt of the Leeds fans’ frustrations.
Check out the reactions from the Leeds fans below!

Jesus, Knockaert has gone down that easily against #lufc that if he was a woman he'd be a definite keeper and marriage material

We're too honest. If Dallas went down like a massive vagina (ala Knockaert/Dunk) we'd probs have won a pen. #lufc
