Chelsea’s hard-fought win over West Bromwich Albion saw them extend their winning streak to nine games on Sunday at Stamford Bridge. Tony Pulis’ side deserved credit for making things so hard for the home side, but Chelsea did enough to eke out the victory.
The first half was a tepid affair, with the Blues having possession and doing little with it. It was evident that a change was needed and Conte did just that; sensing the need for more bodies in attack, the Italian brought on Willian and switched to a 4-2-4 formation.
The change eventually worked, as Costa scored the winner and this switch in formation didn’t go unnoticed by the fans. Check out some of the best reactions below:
Conte started it with 3-4-3
Switched to 4-1-4-1
Then switched to 4-3-3
And then switched back to 3-4-3
MASTER CLASS #CFC

Today's match underscores Antonio Conte's genius.
Switched to 4-5-1 for the goal and back to 3-5-2 to secure the win. Who'd have thought?

That change to 4 at the back really shows how amazing Conte's tactics are. Got Pulis all confused cos they planned playing 4 in the middle

Conte is Magic, the godfather, the mother of tactics. He first played 3-4-3, then 4-4-2 then 4-3-3 and after scoring he settled down to 3-5-2

The way Conte is able to swiftly change tactics and still get results is very very rare. Might be too early but this man is a GENIUS!
