Whilst it is safe to say that Manchester United have struggled to find their identity on the football field in the post-Fergie era, their brand status hasn’t been affected one bit. Indeed, the club constantly sign one sponsorship deal after another, proving the name value they have off the field.
They recently signed yet another sponsorship deal with music streaming app Deezer. It’s a practice of the club to use their players in a bid to promote these products and this time was no different; the club released a minute-long ad that was centred on Paul Pogba and ex-United legend Rio Ferdinand.
Looking to showcase the range of music available on the app whilst focusing on the past and future of the club, it does a good job of promoting both the football club as well as the app.
