Chelsea made it eleven in a row, as they beat Crystal Palace in a tightly contested match on Saturday. The only goal at Selhurst Park came from their in-form man, Diego Costa.
The Brazilian-born Spanish striker turned the game just before half-time by scoring a placed header. The goal saw him extend his lead at the top of the goal scoring charts, with 13 goals in the League this season.
Considering the form Diego Costa is in, the Eagles cannot be blamed for the wishful thinking on their part. As Costa was being brought off for Michy Batshuayi in the 88th minute, the Eagles’ social media team mistakenly reported the substitution as one of their own.
