Sergio Romero, despite his promise that he’d fight for the starting spot, is in danger of being a forgotten man in the United squad. The Argentine has featured only four times this season, and none of those appearances have been in the Premier League.
Sadly, the only Premier League action Romero nowadays receives is high-fiving the players when they come off, and even that does not seem to be happening now.
The Argentine tried to high-five Jesse Lingard as he came off, but was left hanging for an awkwardly long interval – he finally got the acknowledgment though.
Not keen on learning from his experience, Romero was left hanging again when trying to high-five Rooney after he was taken off. Check out both the incidents below!
