In a perfect Christmas Present for all Chelsea fans, the Blues took on and thrashed opponents Bournemouth on Boxing Day.
The match was supposed to be a small test for Chelsea and Conte, since the league top scorer Diego Costa was suspended for the clash. Many expected Conte to task Batshuayi with leading the line, but the Italian pulled off a surprise with Hazard, Willian and Pedro starting as the forwards.
The trio coped with the expectations admirably, with Pedro and Hazard scoring the first two goals. The Belgian looked lively in particular, with his mazy dribbles and expansive vision.
And in one such passage of play, Hazard almost pulled off what would have been the greatest goal Premier League has ever seen – an intuitive rabona from outside the box.
The keeper was up to the task though, but the move definitely left the fans in awe. Check out the video below!
