The arrival of Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool has seen the Anfield side well and truly established itself as one of the most potent attacking sides in football. Yet for all their attacking prowess, the Klopp defence has been more or less a calamity.
This emphasis on attacking seems to be trickling down to the younger players at Liverpool as well. Llyod Jones performance against MK Dons in particular embodied the attack minded approach installed at Liverpool since Klopp’s arrival.
The young Reds defender on loan at Swindon Town featured against MK Dons in their concluding match for 2016. Swindon Town went on to lose 3-2 and being part of a defence that conceded three, Jones did not have the best of performances to show for.
Yet one particular highlight of his performance was his enviable close control skills and trickery that he exhibited as he beat not one, but three Dons players in one instance of the match.
Very Firmino-esque from the youngster, check out the skills below!
