Manchester United’s 4-0 win over Reading in the FA Cup will forever be remembered as the day Wayne Rooney equalled the number of club goals scored by Sir Bobby Charlton. Whilst Rooney has been a shadow of his former self in recent years, no one can say the United skipper didn’t deserve it.

The game was also notable for Marcus Rashford scoring and breaking his mini-drought. The youngster has gotten plenty of game time this season but has yet to display the kind of form he was producing last season. However, it was the assist for Rashford’s goal that got people talking.

Michael Carrick might be aging, but the veteran has been playing regularly this season. His passing and defensive shielding are a key part of United’s midfield set-up. It was his incredible pass that set up Rashford’s goal and caused United fans to go nuts on social media.
