West Ham United’s dismal performances saw them end last year on the bottom half of the League table, and 2017 hasn’t been too kind either.
While consistent losses have drawn several harsh reactions, players too are facing the heat after manager Slaven Bilic has reportedly announced cuts in the team.
It is rumoured that the Hammers boss will soon sack a few of his players, amongst whom Jonathan Calleri’s name appears to be very prominent. The young Argentinian arrived in London on a season-long loan from Uruguay’s Deportivo Maldonado in August last year.
Although the striker’s form at the club shouldn’t make the news of his departure come as a surprise, Calleri couldn’t disguise his outrage as he took to Instagram to post a selfie of himself depicting an offensive gesture by flashing his middle finger with a concealed message addressed to his critics.
