Arsenal have a reputation as one of the best proponents of youth building in the English Premier League. Arsene Wenger has long been of the belief that young players must be given a chance to succeed. As such, he has been responsible for a number of young players eventually going on to greater things.
However, not every academy product can break into the side immediately. Sometimes, they need a few loan moves away from the side to gain first-team experience. Such seems to be the case with Jon Toral, an attacking midfielder who has already has three loan moves under his belt already. However, the club clearly think he needs more seasoning.
A move to second-placed Scottish side Rangers for Toral was rumoured for a while. The move would be good for Rangers too, who could use some fresh blood to try and maybe close the gap between them and Celtic. And it appears the transfer now seems closer to being done as the midfielder was in Glasgow to complete his move.
