Manchester United have finally started to gel under Jose Mourinho. The Portuguese manager’s start at the club was turbulent to say the least, but a change in formation and improvement in form of his key players has seen their form improve. At the moment, they’re one of the tougher English sides to beat.
Off the field, the club have remained a strong global brand even despite the turbulence faced since Sir Alex Ferguson retired. The club has a loyal and global fanbase that makes it very easy to remain profitable, as is evidenced by the large number of sponsorship deals the club inks regularly.
A recent benchmarking report released by UEFA has once again shown the power of the Man United brand. The club’s official website, at least according to data taken from January-July 2016, was the most visited website amongst all football clubs in the world, averaging around 8.6 million visitors per month.
